Don't hate, appreciate!

I find this offensive because it is stating that in a crowd of hundreds of people, those people with AIDS stand out among the rest.

I find this image fairly offensive because it is basically saying that blacks are in control of the whites.

Who do you think benefits when advertisers use controversial issues and/or images in their ads? Explain.
I think the advertiser benefits because the add could be so shocking that the viewer cannot believe that someone would actually show it to the public so they continue to watch it and send the link to their friends and request that they watch it as well.

Do you think advertisers should be allowed to use sexually suggestive images in their ads? Give your reasons.
No, I don't think that they should be allowed because some people could find it really offensive and disgusting.

What do you see as drawbacks to using controversial advertising?
For drawbacks, I feel that using controversial advertising could stop people from viewing these ads and they could report the person for using such sexually suggestive or shocking images.

What do you see as benefits?
As a benefit, I think that they would get more views because if the advertisement were to appear online, the viewer would more than likely copy and paste the link to a friend to show them what they have seen.

If you were an advertising, would you use controversial advertising? Why or why not?

No, I wouldn't use controversial advertising because I would be scared to risk losing viewers and being reported for disgusting advertisements.
