Life is full of biases, prejudices, distortions and stereotypes.

Preps: One of the most popular and well known stereotypes. The people who fall into this category generally wear brand names such as: American Eagle, Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch. Preps usually play water polo because they generally have a nice figure. Preps tend to think of themselves as better than everyone else, therefore, society doesn’t normally isn’t there biggest fan.

Emos: This stereotype is very popular around here. An emo kid is, 9 times out of 10, ALWAYS wearing black or plaid with skinny, tight legged jeans and high top shoes. Emo kids usually listen to
Simple Plan, Bullet For My Valentine and Atreyu. Society doesn't really pay much attention to emo kids because they keep to themselves and just sit and stare in one spot with their evil death glare.

Stoners: This stereotype is also pretty popular around here. They usually wear loose clothing such as baggy sweatshirts and baggy jeans. They tend to listen to
Cypress Hill, Bob Marley and Dr. Dre. Products that would be associated with stoners would be pipes and bongs.

Gamers: This stereotype takes up about 25% of this school. They don't have a different style of clothing but they do have different hobbies. Actually, they don't really have any other than sitting around all day and playing WoW, Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 2 and Runescape. I'm not sure what kind of music a gamer would listen to. But when I begin to think about it, I don't think it would be much different than mine or yours. But I could see them listening to theme songs such as Mortal Kombat. Society tends to make fun of gamers because it's all they do. They tend to say that they have no lives, but game wise, they have 9.
